An important segment of Monarch's organization is a growing roster of associates, and several strategic alliances with foreign firms having specialized expertise. Monarch has been carefully developing and nurturing these beneficial relationships, as they allow us to allocate a diversified team of proven professionals to a client project based on the specific requirements of the assignment.
One such strategic alliance, that allows us to augment our industrial minerals capability, is with Santini and Associates, which was founded in 1985 by Ken Santini. Previously, Mr. Santini was employed by the California Portland Cement Company and Anaconda Minerals Company, where he gained extensive experience in the exploration and evaluation of domestic and international industrial mineral deposits. In addition, he has operations experience at various open pit industrial mineral mines. Their global network of industrial mineral specialists has significant project experience in all of the commonly listed industrial minerals, and can provide a complete evaluation of existing operations for purposes of joint venture, acquisition or divestiture.
We have the ability, depending on the assignment, to augment our current in-house staff with highly specific expertise.
